Montreal, May 3rd, 2018: Shed Productions Inc., operating as REC4BOX, is proud to announce the purchase of 12 Sony HDC4300L 4K cameras and a fleet of 13 Canon studio lenses to complement its mobile production unit rental service. This major investment has been made possible thanks to their financial partners, Investissement Québec and Desjardins Entreprises Québec-Capitale.

"This new equipment will enable REC4BOX to develop new customers, especially in terms of sports events, festivals and corporate events,” said Gilbert Fortin President and Chief Executive Officer of REC4BOX. “This acquisition of equipment will also enable us to solidify our position in the Quebec television sector and to open new markets, such as Toronto, Vancouver and the United States."

REC4BOX continues to deploy their expansion plan which started in 2017 with the construction of a brand new mobile unit of the Galleon series from their manufacturing devision, intended primarily for the production of sports events and other large scale projects. Thanks to the financial support of Investissement Québec and Desjardins Businesses Québec-Capital, REC4BOX was able to launch the second phase of its expansion plan this year.
